About Attorney John L. Tompkins
Trials can be won or lost on the quality of a lawyer’s case preparation and experience as a litigator. Attorney John L. Tompkins has tried dozens of jury trials and hundreds of bench trials throughout his career. He is an aggressive, strategic defense attorney who is always willing to go to trial when that is in the client’s best interests.
Experience and Education
Mr. Tompkins is one of the founders of the association of Brown Tompkins Lory & Mastrian. He has been practicing law since 1996 and is licensed in Indiana state courts as well as the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana. He has been selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers from 2006 to 2013.
Before practicing law, Mr. Tompkins spent eight years in the military and taught high school for a year. He continues to teach classes today for the Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum.
